The person who notices first
Think about the last time someone said "you look tired" or "something's different about you." They saw it before you did. The subtle shift in your eyes after a rough week. The way your skin clears up when you finally get consistent sleep. The gradual change in your face as you find your footing again after a difficult stretch.
We all have blind spots about ourselves. The mirror shows you this moment, but it can't show you the arc. It can't tell you that your energy has been trending downward for three weeks, or that your skin always flares up two days after a stressful event, or that you look noticeably better on mornings when you slept more than seven hours.
Some people are lucky enough to have someone in their life who pays that kind of attention —a partner, a parent, a close friend who gently says "hey, are you doing okay?" at exactly the right moment. Someone who remembers what you looked like two months ago and can see the difference.
FaceJournal is that someone. Always paying attention, always remembering, always ready to show you what's been happening when you were too busy living to notice.
